Walk Through Concord’s History

This innovative, family-friendly event, which premiered on Saturday, April 25, 2009, combines the concepts of a fundraising walk-a-thon and living history reenactments.  Walkers stroll down lovely North Union Street and downtown Concord and meet—live and “in person”—a host of the county’s historical luminaries such as Stephen Cabarrus and Warren C. Coleman.  Also on hand are vintage vehicles, living-history demonstrations, and live music.

The next Walk Through Concord’s History takes place on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 1 PM until 4 PM.

Proceeds from the Walk Through Concord’s History are earmarked for our New Museum fund.  Please make a donation to this cause today.  Thank you.
