This postcard from the 1960s depicts an aerial view of downtown Concord. Some structures remain today, such as the Historic Courthouse and St. James Lutheran Church, while others have dramatically changed. Note Belk’s in the center of the shot, on South Union Street; this is now the home of the Concord Museum, among other businesses.
